1. Operators shall wear protective gloves before operation.

3. Carefully check whether the chain is twisted, knotted, buckled, etc. in case of the following conditions, please adjust the chain before proceeding to the next step.
4. When the chain sling is connected with the lifted object, find the appropriate center of gravity and ensure that there is no problem with the center of gravity before lifting.
5. Before hoisting the heavy objects, check whether the chain sling and the heavy objects are well protected to avoid damaging the surface of the lifted objects during hoisting.
6. Check whether there are personnel working and obstacles within the lifting range. Clear the site in time and lift after removing the obstacles.
7. After the heavy object is hoisted, no personnel shall pass under the heavy object or inspect the construction at the bottom.
8. Chain slings and riggings shall not be used in hot galvanizing bath and pickling bath.
Routine inspection of slings and riggings
According to regulations, chain slings and riggings must be inspected by professionals at least one year apart. At least three crack inspections shall be conducted. According to the different application occasions of chain slings and riggings, the inspection cycle may be reduced according to the actual situation, especially in the environment with high frequency of use, serious wear, corrosion and high temperature, such as once every three months.
During the use, the user should regularly conduct visual inspection to find the exposed damage, including those covered by stains. If there is any doubt about the safety condition of a chain sling, it should be stopped and professional personnel should be invited to conduct a comprehensive inspection.
